How to Join Us

If you are interested in joining, please come along and sing with us at one or two of our Thursday rehearsalsl; rehearsals for next term's concert begin on Thursday 1st April.

NB:
Thursday 8th April - no rehearsal
Thursday 15th April - Rehearsal at St Mary's Church Twickenham

The procedure is that the conductor will ask you to pass a brief voice test when you have found your feet. A basic knowledge of music is necessary, but perfect sight reading or a voice like Pavarotti's is not! There is no need to prepare a piece.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7.00 to 9.30 p.m in the main hall of Richmond Adult & Community College Clifden Road Twickenham TW1 4LT. The 2009/10 year starts on 17th September.

Visit Streetmap to see a local map. Nearest station is Twickenham BR (about 5 mins walk) which has frequent trains from Waterloo; timetable information is available from South West Trains. The centre has a large car park, and there are numerous bus routes running along Heath Road.

And afterwards?

Many singers like to refresh their vocal cords after a hard evening's sing. A popular venue is the Cabbage Patch in London Road.
