How to Join Us

If you are interested in joining, please come along and sing with us at one or two of our Thursday rehearsals; rehearsals for next term's concert begin on Thursday 9th September 2010.

NB:
This first rehearsal will be held at St Mary's Church Twickenham, starting 7pm. The following week(16th September) we revert to our usual venue(see below)

The procedure is that the conductor will ask you to pass a brief voice test when you have found your feet. A basic knowledge of music is necessary, but perfect sight reading or a voice like Pavarotti's is not! There is no need to prepare a piece.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7.00 to 9.30 p.m in the main hall of Richmond Adult & Community College Clifden Road Twickenham TW1 4LT. The 2010/11 year starts on 9th September.

Visit Streetmap to see a local map. Nearest station is Twickenham BR (about 5 mins walk) which has frequent trains from Waterloo; timetable information is available from South West Trains. The centre has a large car park, and there are numerous bus routes running along Heath Road.

And afterwards?

Many singers like to refresh their vocal cords after a hard evening's sing. A popular venue is the Cabbage Patch in London Road.
